Seal Pearl came highly recommended....I was really impressed with Sea Pearl! Yesterday, we had our holiday staff lunch there and the food and service was great! i called and talked to Don (host) a week prior to set up the reservation. I told him what I desired and wanting a place with good food and wouldn't be rushed out to do our team holiday stuff. Upon arriving, Don greeted me nicely. He also welcomed my colleagues at the table once they arrived and were seated. Gillian and another gentleman were our servers. We sat in the far back of the restaurant giving us a private dining experience. They were very attentive to our food needs. We asked for specials and recommendations to help us make a good choice on food. Gillian recommended the Chilean sea bass which was very very good. The fish was seasoned well and the jasmine rice and veggies were a good combination. I'm also from Massachusetts and it was very encouraging to see that they had Well-fleet Oysters! My colleague ordered that and the firecracker sushi which I tasted. YUMMY!!! Sea Pearl is currently decorated very nicely and the holiday lights and Christmas tree is an awesome touch. The lounge area is very cute and we were able to do our White Elephant game. We literally got there at 1pm and staying until after 4pm. We never felt rushed or unwelcomed. I look forward to going back for happy hour or brunch.

Reviewing only their Happy Hour as I have come on a few occasions for it. The oysters here at the happy hour taste fairly good (local Chesapeake ones looked like bluepoints but I'm not totally sure but not very briny and fairly large). You have eat it carefully as to avoid the dirt or sand or shell fragments or something (?) on them, needless to say they were not cleaned with much effort. In about 2 dozen I found ~3 with some debris floating in the liquid.. (dirt/sand..?). They tasted fresh though. Just poorly cleaned, but hey it's 1$ each and gets rid of the craving! They are fairly popular for their HH rolls, which I do admit are at a great price. But the one that stood out is actually one I didn't expect to like at all. It's called the "BLT" roll (like..wtf?? Sounds so weird) it's soooo good! The other ones I'd suggest are the spicy salmon roll and shrimp tempura rolls. I usually get their house cab for a drink when I'm there, it's tasted pretty decent most times :)

This is a belated review from 10 days ago. 18 of us had a group dinner to celebrate the New Year. As I was in charge of the game/entertainment at the dinner, I arrived there early to set up things. I was very impressed with the staff who willingly helped me with the table arrangement and WiFi connection. Especially Cole and the front desk lady were very helpful. The owner lady and maybe her husband(?) also came out to help. How nice! For the food, the kale salad was good. Fried calamari was okay. The pork belly buns' pork belly was so-so. My entree vegetarian bibimba with ma po tofu was interesting and enjoyable. The passion fruit sorbet was good. Parking was easy with the free public parking in the same building.

Came in here to try out the restaurant one week night a little before closing times. I was initially turned off that the bartender was adamant about there being no substitutions to the menu because the chef didn't like to change his food around but once I got my meal I was not disappointed at all. The restaurant and ambiance is beautiful inside and it wasn't took crazy after the happy hour crowd dies down. I'll be sure to be back and try out some of the othe Just a note that the store should update the closing times on apps like here and google because they were contradicting to what the restaurant said.

Asian fusion restaurant, and I have to say I'm impressed! I luckily ran into one of the sisters who own Sea Pearl, and she recommended the Oven Roasted Chilean Sea Bass as it is the most popular dish. It definitely did not disappoint- light miso sauce atop the sea bass served with fluffy jasmine rice and baby bok choy. My date got the Hong Kong Style claypot, with Chinese sausage, pork belly, shrimp, mushroom all on top of basmati rice. From the bites I was able to steal, everything was perfectly seasoned and not to greasy despite all the meaty goodness :) Very impressed by the ambience and food here. Cannot wait to come back to try more dishes! Oh and their happy hour menu looks pretty good too- $5 rail drinks and $7 for select small bites.

If you turn on the lights and look at your face in the mirror, you might See Pearl. My bad. Well if this isn't the trendiest place on Earth to hang out on a weekend night then I don't know what it is. This place is so busy it's almost painful. Lots of overdressed people and very good looking people doing the Asian fusion thing. The food is expensive sorry but it's good. Some of the other reviews of this place are painful. This isn't Asian food (lol). Does it even pretend to be? It's American food with slight Asian influences on *some* of the items. If you like actual Asian food (or not going broke after 1 meal) then this isn't the place to come. On the other hand they're extremely friendly, and most of the items I've tried have been very tasty. It's *wayyyy* out of my price range, but considering that every time I've been here someone else was paying, or both times I should say, I can't really complain. It's not amazing enough (especially considering the prices) to give more than 4, but it's also way too friendly (service) and significantly tasty that 3 stars is not enough. Really though. Some of you Yelpers really should have a word with yourselves. I don't have high standards for what I expect to see on Yelp (obviously) and I don't care, but people talking about cuisines they have no clue about, as if they are an authority, always does my head in. When will humans realize that the greatest wisdom lies in knowing we know nothing.
